Your vehicle

    Your body provides a vehicle for consciousness and as long as that body exists, so will there be consciousness. When the body has taken its last breath and the consciousness is extinguished, where do you go? What entity exists beyond the consciousness of which you are now aware? Where do you go when the body is no more?

    The existence of a before or after life would necessarily involve some kind of awareness. In tandem with this perception is the impossibility that you somehow came from nothing and will return to nothing. This just can't be. It is of a different quality perhaps, but a certain awareness most certainly was, is and shall be always. While you occupy this vehicle, stay with the sense of "I am". That pinpoint before thought and bodily awareness. That point is the timeless center of the universe.
