Clearing space
If we only realized how beneficial forgiveness is, we would
readily partake of it more often! Forgiveness is liberating. We
remain captive to that which we resent. The life force can't
flow freely through us when resentment exists.
When the resentment is released, the block is removed and
the flow continues powerfully as it should. The removal is
within our control. Someone wrongs us. Instead of
overlooking/forgiving on the spot, we place a resentment
between us and that someone.
Ultimately, this resentment is placed between us and our
world. The toxin remains and becomes reinforced with each
successive resentment. Direct and genuine communication between
us and another has been compromised. We carry this toxin into
fresh experiences and relationships, unaware of the damage
being done. This resentment affects not only what comes from
within but also what we allow to enter.
The natural and spontaneous interchange of giving and
receiving has been thwarted. Meditation provides the necessary
tool used to identify and rid yourself of these toxic
resentments. Use the technique found here: to eliminate these
harmful psychic invaders one by one.
Certain resentments may be so deeply rooted that it can take
some time before they can be dredged up for your observation.
These particularly stubborn resentments are usually directed at
one or both parents. It is crucial that they be dealt with in
order to move forward. Realize and simply let go.
Resist the tendency to force their eradication, for that
only strengthens their grip. Don't force at all. Just quietly
observe the particular resentment objectively and give up your
emotional attachment to it. Do your meditation! As the old
resentments are slowly extracted and your ever- increasing
present moment awareness prevents the development of new
resentments, inner space will be made available.
Direct intuitive knowledge is now more easily accessible.
This will result in timely and proper responses to daily
experiences, demands and pressures. You may even observe a
certain serendipity begin to blanket your life!
